With the release, Learningserver now offers support for automated Meeting Requests through Microsoft Exchange and Custom Reporting with Microsoft SQL Reporting Services.
Integration with Microsoft Exchange Web Services allows LearningServer users to automatically receive Meeting Requests in their Outlook inbox when registered to an Event and updates if Event details change. This functionality provides Learners with a strong notification system for face-to-face training such as classes and seminars.
A new report management interface provides site administrators with the ability to add in custom reports hosted locally or on Microsoft SQL Reporting Services. Custom reports can be created using Microsoft Report Builder, SQL Reporting Services, and Visual Studio. Six fully-functional sample reports ship with the add-on.
Also available for LearningServer v2.7 are Custom Email Alerts, Ecommerce with support for multiple gateways, and various bug fixes. The Microsoft .NET-based LearningServer is used by organizations across the globe in implementations ranging from 500 to 50,000 users. Today, the LMS includes content creation/management, reporting, user management, enrollment, and collaboration functions.
