IntraLearn To Distribute McGraw-Hill Lifetime Learning Courses; Focus Will Be On U.S. And Canadian Mid-Sized Firms
LEXINGTON, Mass., June 26, 2001 - McGraw-Hill Lifetime Learning (MHLL), a leading provider of comprehensive e-learning courses, has entered into a U.S. and Canadian distribution agreement with IntraLearn Software Corporation, a leading supplier of configurable e-learning applications. IntraLearn, of Northboro, Mass., will bundle MHLL's e-learning content with its e-learning management platform to offer an excellent online business skills training solution targeted at mid-market companies.

Prior to this partnership the mid-market (companies with annual revenues between $50 million and $500 million) has had limited access to cost-effective e-learning technologies and courses. The two companies will work together to ensure high-performance and compatibility between the IntraLearn platform and MHLL e-learning courseware, as well as assisting each other in joint marketing and sales programs. MHLL is a division of McGraw-Hill Education, part of The McGraw-Hill Companies (NYSE:MHP).

"By making industry-standard business skills courseware easily available on a quality learning management platform, this alliance accelerates the growth of e-learning in commercial, mid-market businesses," said Patricia Leonard, president of MHLL. "The partnership provides mid-sized companies with one-stop shopping for all their e-learning and corporate training needs."

The partnership with IntraLearn Software assures mid-market businesses that MHLL e-learning courses are fully compatible with the IntraLearn e-learning product family. MHLL courses running on IntraLearn, regardless of their language or location, will load and launch easily and will support learning status tracking, progress measurement and evaluation in accordance with industry standards.

"IntraLearn looks forward to working with MHLL to make high-quality e-learning platforms and courseware both affordable and accessible to mid-market organizations," said Peter Banhazl, executive vice president, IntraLearn Software Corporation. “This partnership provides these companies with tightly integrated online training solutions costing substantially less than customized implementations. And with MHLL courseware, our customers are getting superior business skills content."

MHLL is the corporate training industry’s leading provider of professional learning services and e-learning courses, developed with an in-depth understanding of instructional design, mapped to adult learning theories and optimized to take full advantage of individual delivery systems.
