IntraLearn Donates Learning Management System to Habitat for Humanity
Cites need for learning technologies to play a greater role in addressing social issues
Northboro, MA, September 28, 2004 - IntraLearn Software Corporation, the leading supplier of configurable e-Learning software applications, announced today that it has donated IntraLearn XE to Habitat for Humanity University so it may use online learning to help quickly train people to teach volunteers around the world how to build homes.

Habitat for Humanity International is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian housing organization that builds simple, decent, and affordable houses in partnership with those who lack adequate shelter.

Since 1976, Habitat has built more than 175,000 houses, providing shelter for nearly 900,000 people worldwide. Now at work in 100 countries, they are building a house every 26 minutes. By the end of calendar year 2005, Habitat houses will be sheltering one million people.

“My long-term vision is that Habitat for Humanity University identify and nurture the next generation of leaders in the movement to eliminate sub-standard housing worldwide…and be on the cutting edge of trends in eliminating poverty housing,” said Millard Fuller, president and founder of Habitat. “The IntraLearn system will go a long way in helping to get us there.” For more information, visit wwww.hfhu.org.
