The Company
Founded in 1994 and located in Northboro, Massachusetts, IntraLearn Software Corporation (ISC) is a leading global provider of e-Learning products to corporate enterprises, academic institutions, associations, government agencies and training suppliers. The company first shipped its flagship product, IntraLearn (Learning Management System), in 1997. Today, more than 2,000 organizations use IntraLearn Software products to provide e-Learning to more than 5 million learners worldwide. All ISC products allow users to rapidly create, deliver and measure interactive learning over the Internet and intranets. ISC is a privately-held, self-funded, “C” corporation, which has progressively scaled since 1997. With field-offices in the UK, Singapore, India, and Brazil, ISC software is distributed worldwide through authorized resellers, OEMs, Application Service Providers, and Learning Service Providers. IntraLearn Software is a six-time Microsoft Gold Certified Partner.

eLearning Enters the Mainstream

IntraLearn Software prides itself in making e-Learning affordable using a commodity-based strategy. IntraLearn Software has created the IntraLearn platform for globally distributed learning, bundling the necessary technologies into one simple turnkey offering leveraging the underlying infrastructure of Microsoft software technology. The new LearningServer product-line provides flexible implementation strategies using an ala-carte business model which utilizes .NET component-based technologies.

Markets

The company markets consist of Corporate, Academic, Government, and Non-Profit. Currently, there are more than 100 IntraLearn Software partners worldwide, which include Value Added Resellers, Learning Service Providers (LSPs), OEMs and system integrators. The company's success in these markets comes from two key factors:
• Addressing the unique needs of each individual market with partners that bring added value to their customers.
• Delivering products that combine strong functionality and low-cost.


Products

IntraLearn Software offers two eLearning platforms:
• IntraLearn – Turnkey Learning Management System
• LearningServer – Component-based eLearning System

ISC products are field configurable, built on Microsoft Windows Server and utilize Microsoft SQL Server to capture, contain, link and report all activity. IntraLearn Software products are also e-commerce-enabled, with remote registration, content delivery, learner profiles, multimedia, collaboration, exams and assessments. Reports on learner progress and skill attainment are automatically generated. Interactivity and collaboration are built-in with chat, threaded discussions, email, white boards, Internet and live-class links, and group/mentor rooms with file sharing. ISC products are compatible with industry standards for online courseware, including SCORM, AICC, IMS, and LRN.

Management Team

Jerry Goguen, President and Chief Executive Officer - Jerry Goguen founded IntraLearn Software in 1994 and has served as President and Chief Executive Officer since its inception. Along with company focus and direction, Goguen manages the vision of the company including but not limited to technology. Before starting IntraLearn Software, Goguen held multiple "intrepreneurial" positions at Wang and Data General. From 1991 to 1994, Goguen was instrumental in helping turn Wang into a software and services organization. From 1975 to 1991, Goguen was employed at Data General, with his last position held as Group Manager for Data General's Open Systems-based Office Automation offerings. Goguen was a founding member of the marketing team transitioning Data General's proprietary office offerings to Open Systems, creating a $20 million business in less than 2 years. He holds a M.B.A. from Nichols College and a B.S. degree in Computer Technology from Central New England College.

Evan Lenson, Vice President, Business Development - Evan Lenson brings eighteen years of sales channel management experience in the computer and medical equipment industries. Prior to joining IntraLearn in 1999, Lenson consistently exceeded quota as a regional sales manager for WOLF Technology and Splash/ColorAge, both makers of colors imaging software products sold through Xerox and Canon. From 1987 to 1996, he held several sales management positions at Optelec US, a leading manufacturer of medical equipment- low vision assistive devices. Evan Lenson holds a BA from Curry College.
